So summer is officially gone and its Autumn and I am so excited I love Autumn its one of my favourite seasons but these summer rolls are so yummy they can be eaten no matter what season it is so I had to share them with you. Full Details on the recipe can be found on the bottom and if you want to check out the School of Wok you can find them Here!

A few weeks back I got chosen to be a judge at Square Meal Events Live I was helping them judge the winner for the Canape Cup Competition. Before I did that I saw a few cooking master classes for Vietnamese food that the School of Wok was hosting so I couldn't resist. I will apologise in advance if you see a lot of chinese, japanese or vietnamese food on the blog their like my favourite types of food. With that said I promise I will cook some other type of dishes so subscribe to my mailing list so you wont miss other healthy recipes or let you me know what types of food you would like to see on the blog.

1 pack rice paper wraps

The Filling
50g of dried vermicelli noodles;prepared &chopped into strands approx 5-6cm
1/2 head of gem lettuce, shredded
1 red pepper, chopped finely into match sticks
1/2 cucumber, chopped finely into match sticks
1 spring onion, chopped finely into match sticks
50g peanuts, roughly crushed or chopped fresh mint coriander

Spicy Dipping Sauce

1 large lime, juiced
(approx. 3 tablespoons.)
1 clove of garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons of fish sauce or light soy
3 tablespoon of rice vinegar
1/2 or more(depending on taste) small fresh  red Birdseye chilli, sliced or chopped.

1. Prepare all ingredients in the Filling, ready for use.
2. Open your pack of rice paper wraps. Dip one rice paper wrap into a large tub of cold water for 3 seconds, careful to wet all the surface area but not to break it, nor wet any other wraps at the same time as they will stick together and become unusable.
3.Lay the wrapper flat on your worktop. Next working quickly, begin to fill the wrapper; layering the ingredients horizontally on top of each other beginning with your noodles on the bottom and ending with the herbs last on the top. This will make for visually appealing summer roll at the end. Your final amount of filling should be no larger than a small fist, with 3-4 cm on either side of your wrapper, as it will be hard to close the wrapper otherwise.
4. Using your thumb and index finger, gently peel the very centre of the bottom of the wrapper up and over the filling and sticking the wrapper to itself.
5. Then, using your index finger, gently peel the very centre of the bottom of the wrapper up and over the filling and sticking the wrapper to itself.
6. Next, foldin each of the wrapper tightly and stick them to the body of the roll. The wrapper will naturally stick to itself, which is why you want to work quickly and efficiently, so as not to have to pull the delicate wrapper apart and risk breaking it.
7.Continue rolling the pastrt up like until the roll is fully closed and all whole wrapper has been sed. Repeat this process with each rice paper wrapper  until you have used up all of your filling ingredients. They look lovely placed with the herbs facing up, adding a pop of colour to your plate. Serve with the spicy dipping sauce.

Method for the Dipping Sauce
1.Combine all the ingredients into a jar or bowl
2. Stir well and leave for 10 minutes before ready to use.
3. Keeps for up to 4 days in the refrigerator.

I hope you enjoy that yummy recipe from the school of wok I think the class enjoyed eating them a tad more than making them lol but honestly their so much fun to make especially with friends and family. Also, if you would prefer a more savoury version try adding some strips of chicken or beef to it but I guarantee after you taste these baby's on their own you will find that there's no need to add anything to them.

So Leave a comment  if you've tried this recipe or your planning to or let me know if you would like to see more post like this down below in the comment session or any thoughts you have whatsoever I value your feedback.

And once again thank you for reading.

Until Next Time,

Hi Lovelies,

As promised I mentioned in my post  on the Blogger Festival that I will be having a closer look at some of the other products I received  in my goody bag or from the various sections in the blogger festival.... If you'd like to see that post you can find it Here!

So the blogger festival had some products that I have heard about and  some of them I have never knew existed, I'm doing a review on some of them at the moment so you will see my honest thoughts on them, but if you want me to try out something you've seen here or you want my opinion on it, just leave a message in the comments or pop me an email.

So with that said lets dive in.....

Friction Free Shaving

First I have to say that this subscription is so cool, I have never heard of a razor subscription before and I have looked at a lot of subscriptions whether it is food, makeup and even drinks. So basically FFS( Friction Free Shaving) states they are on a mission to make it cleaner, easier and cheaper for you to shave your legs, underarms and  any other areas.

The subscription works like this they send you a chic handle then fresh blades through your letterbox each month so you can stay smoother for longer all for just £3.00 a month, and no it wasn't a
typo £3.00 a month (I spend more than that on sweets/ makeup in a week.). This is such a bargain and on top of that they have such a cute rose gold handle one, its so "instagramable" that I was practically drooling over it. All there razors are named also there's Faye, Frankie, Samantha( the golden goddess).

I so kindly received Frankie, I personally use Veet because of my bad experience with razors, however I know some people have bad experience with hair removal creams so they would be jumping at this, in fact one of my friends absolutely loves it and is planning to start her subscription. If you want to take a closer look at them Click Here! If you try them please let me know I would love to know your experience.*

7th Heaven

Oh my word, 7th Heaven deserves a massive shout out, they were so generous at the blogger festival I was astonished. I'm a big 7th Heavens fan I Loveeee their face mask, I cant wait to have my 7th Heaven pamper party its gonna be amazing!!!. I kept saying to the lovely lady at the festival I'm gonna share these with my girls I cant keep this goodness to myself. Also there range now compared to what it was before is crazy, they not only have face mask, they have hand mask and feet mask. I know they sell in different stores but I usually purchase there masks at Superdrug.

Natural World

Natural world is a hair care range that produces natural and organic products and I am a big fan of anything that is natural or organic so I was very excited to have a sample of their coconut water hydration and shine weightless hair oil. Their range brings natural ingredients from all over the world to create naturally affordable hair care.  Their range includes Argan Oil of Morocco, Brazillian Keratin, Caffeine Power, Chia Seed Oil, Coconut Oil and Macadamia Oil. All of the different ranges I have listed come with their own targeted function. I will be posting my thoughts about the sample on my Instagram but what I have done I have taken the quiz and it has let me know the best range that is suitable for me so I will be trying the whole range for a few weeks and giving you my honest feedback on what I think. See if you can guess the range that the quiz picked, leave a comment below. In fact if you would like to take the quiz or check them out just Click Here.

Two words " Rose Gold" PNY has saved me this winter and they have saved me in style, because my Iphone dies all the time and if you have an iphone you would know that the battery life is even worst when it gets cold. The lady's at the festival was so lovely and they not only had power pack's on display they had lenses for your phone, charger cables, usb sticks, memory cards and the list continues. I love a bit of tech especially tech that makes your life easier, there is something for everyone on PNY you gotta check them out.

Beverly Hills Formula

Beverly Hills Formula another brand I have seen but haven't tried yet was showcasing there brand of toothpastes, I received a goody bag with a large tube and some samples plus another large tube was in the goody bag I received when leaving, so I left a happy camper. I can appreciate teeth whitening because I am a coffee drinker and even if you don't drink coffee the food we eat also stains our teeth. I found their perfect white black quite intriguing and I cant wait to try that. I will definitely be giving you some feedback on whether I see an improvement in my teeth. I am so happy that they were at the blogger festival because I have always seen them in Superdrug but I never had the guts to try them I am a die hard Colgate and Oral B fan so I can wait to try this product.

Aflorex is a food supplement with precision biotics. Its a natural product and it helps to protect your digestive system from harmful bacteria as well as improve the health of your gut and they've stated on their website that this product is safe with no side affects. There's a whole lot of testimonials on this product in terms of the product helping them with bloating, gastroenteritis, IBS you should check them out Testimonials. Aflorex promises to help you reclaim your freedom to travel, eat out and enjoy life.

Deborah Mitchell

I cant wait to try this product and do a review on it, I have never heard of Heaven by Deborah Mitchell. Heaven is a skin care rang. There packaging and brand looks amazing and I have to admit some of the products are pretty high-end so I am grateful to this company for the opportunity to try their products and do a review. I will be doing a review on the peppermint clarifying hydrogel because I have dry skin especially in the winter months. They have a wide range of products from anti-aging, acne prone skin, damaged skin, a men's range, cleansers, moisturisers, professional kits. In fact I've seen a few of there other products that I plan to purchase so I can try them out after I review this product. If you'd like to see the rest of their range you can find them Here!. To add the website gave me options for a range of different countries so you will be able to purchase even if your not in the UK.

Another product I've never heard about is Merumaya, they produce skincare products and I received a few little samples in my goodie bag. There a bit more high- end than Deborah Mitchell in terms of the entire range so I cant wait to try these samples and add them  to my travel bag (their so cute).  Their range includes cleaners, moisturiser, night creams and eye creams ect, so if your looking to pamper yourself a bit go check them out Here!.

I recieved two jars of Opies cherry's in my goody bag, looking forward to baking something with these, its a family run business and they do jarred products. I spoke about Opies more in my blog post on the full day of the blogger festival and there was more pictures and info on them, you can find that post Here.

SO....For Me

I've received a deodorant in my goodie bag from So... For Me I've seen this deodorant in every super drug, supermarket, boots ect and here's the shocker I have never tried it, another item I will be adding to my handbag.

I received such a variety of healthy drinks some I was familiar with like Zeo and Grace Aloe and some a bit new to me such as Get More Vitamin C and Sparkling Ice. A lot of them were packed with natural ingredients, low sugar and no calories I think these range of drinks will go great when it comes to complimenting a diet if you want to take a break from water and  homemade smoothies and juices.

And Lastly...

Last but certainly not least out of all the item's I received in my goody bag this was my absolute favourite #Screams I cant find the words. To be honest when I saw the dark chocolate on the packet I judged it right away because I'm not a fan of dark chocolate but I'm obsessed with sea salted caramel. I was convinced that the dark chocolate would have put me off but when I tasted this bar I was tempted to lick the wrapper it was that good. I even wrote to the company to ask them where are their products being sold because I've never come across Baru and I literally said  to them that this bar of chocolate is the bomb. Its a chocolate fluffy marshmallow bar with dark chocolate and nutty sea salt caramel. Now I know where I can purchase them I want to try the other items in their range. You can purchase their products at Harvey Nicholls, Waitrose and Delicatessen Shops. All the products in their range can be found Here!. Enjoy!

Quick Disclaimer: Some of the american sweets from Go Send did not make it to this blog post but I am grateful to Go Send for their bag filled with American Candy LOL!

So I hope you liked today's post.... subscribe to my blog so you wont miss a thing and Leave a comment . Also let me know if you've tried any of the products mentioned in today's post I would love to know your thoughts and opinions.

And once again thank you for reading.

Still dreaming about the 2016 Blogger Festival

This year I got a chance to go to the 2016 Bloggers Festival which took place at the Conrad Hotel hosted by the beautiful Scarlett London. I was so gutted I didn't get to go to the Bloggers Ball, to be honest, I didn't know about it until I saw the lovely pictures all over my Instagram so I was uber excited to go to the Bloggers Festival. I have also made it my mission to spread the word about any blogging events taking place because I had such a good time at this event and I hope you will do the same for me.

I arrived at the bloggers festival extremely early with my friend and we were greeted with canape reception and drinks. There was a lovely sweet station set up and as soon as I entered I was mesmerised by the amazing Kim K wall, it made such an impression on me that I am currently getting one for my room( A girl can dream).

Hey Lovelies,

It's been a long time since we've had a heart to heart since my Don't rain on me series. For that series, I received so much positive feedback either on my Instagram or just messages sent to me personally and for that I am grateful. I've been blogging for a little over 2 years and I have learnt so much about myself and blogging in general .

I will do a blog post on everything I have learnt now compared to what I knew then just to bring some encouragement and direction to those that are new to blogging or are thinking of starting a blog, or even giving up(don't worry I'll take you under my wing).

But before that post I would just like to give one bit of advice so grab a cup of tea PG tips or Cammomile of course and let's have a good old girly chat.

So when I started blogging and during blogging I first started to research I looked at Blogs on Bloglovin and I obsessed over different feeds on Instagram since I absolutely love pictures. However what I started to do was look at said feed and I liked a theme, for instance a white theme and I would adopt that for one picture then I would look at another theme for instance black and white and I would adopt that for another picture and I would look at my feed and I would dislike it because it just wasn't me but I wanted to appeal to everyone's concept of beautiful.

Another thing I would do is have pictures that have a whole bunch of likes but they didn't look great in my feed or matched my theme. You would think I woud get rid of them but I persisted to keep them anyway because they were a sort of trophy in my Instagram (look how many people liked this picture).

Don't get me wrong I am not against wanting to be liked or having people love your writing or your social media platforms but you want to be able to look at what you've created and say even if no one likes this is me and I'm happy with it. Another disclaimer I'm not against taking constructive criticism or advice from the bloggers that have gone before us, 'A Girl Obsessed' is one of the many blogs I took a lot of blog advice from when I decided to take blogging seriously but I still kept my uniqueness and individuality.

If you've seen my instagram theme and my blog pictures its all bright colours and thats me I'm happy with that but I can still look at someone else's blog, instagram or tumblr and appreciate their pastel colours or white and gold themes.I just love individuality it makes the world a lot less boring don't you think.

Lastly write what you love because trust me if you write what you think people will love or to please the masses you won't find that sense of fulfillment and happiness blogging can bring take it from me.

I can happily say that I love blogging there's areas I am improving or changing daily but I am happy in my own skin.

So if your feeling like giving up on blogging and your down in the dumps maybe you should grab a notebook and a pen and evaluate the colours you like, the type of people you would like to read your blog, the topics you enjoy talking about. After your done go and attack your blog and social media platforms and do a massive clean up. Possibly change your blog theme, delete or hide certain post or get rid of pictures that your not happy with personally.Letting go is good, you'll feel much better after the initial omg what am I doing I promise lol.

Now when someone says I LOVE YOUR BLOG! you can be like OMG Thank you I LOVE IT TO! and
P.S. Enjoy being your own type of BEAU-TIFUL.

So let me know if you're a new blogger, a veteran blogger with years under your belt or your thinking of blogging or maybe you  don't blog at all but this post spoke to you regarding another area.

Leave a Comment down below I would love to know if you found this post helpful.

UK Travels: Brighton in Photos

Hey Lovelies,

As mentioned on my Instagram I visited Brighton for a family trip and I had a wedding to attend all in the same day. I've been to Brighton before but I never had a chance to explore Brighton like I did this time. It has changed so much, apart from the pier, beach and restaurants I visited a massive Boots and I got some products that I couldn't find in the small Boots near to where I live. I will be reviewing those makeup products in  another post so be sure to follow by email to my mailing list.

Enjoy a look at Brighton through my eyes......

So I hope all of you enjoy my little sight seeing trip in Brighton, my only regret was that I didn't get any pictures of food since I was rushing to get my train to attend a wedding in London. There was a really nice dim sum shop at the top of the hill before you arrive at the train station. I absolutely love dim- sum and it was an amazing tasting alternative compared to the Dim-sum that I am familiar with from China Town.

Have you been to Brighton? Do you recommend any restaurants or places in Brighton? How did you find the post in general?

Leave a Comment down below I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback.

Until Next Time,
